Welcome back everyone. Here is a special order card for a 50th birthday. I was just told he liked beer and I could go from there. I decided to pull out my Gelli plate and create my own background using paints and distress inks. I love how it came out. I found this beer pic in a magazine, it worked perfect and the numbers are from Maya Road. It all came together nicely. I started this not knowing how it was going to come out. In the end it was perfect for him. Thanks for stopping by!!

Beginning of 2015
2015 is here!! Here are a few projects coming out of the craft studio. First is a picture of a card I made for a friend. It's recently been published by Scrapbooking.com for the month of January. This card just defines Hillary. I wanted the card to match her talent and gift of singing. She brings all emotions out of you when she sings and I wanted this card to do the same thing. It's magic, it's that plain and simple. Second piece is one that has quickly become one of my most popular. Sugar skulls are so hot right now. I can't seem to keep these, they sell very quickly. I love to bring these to life with all the bold colors. The image is from Bombshell Stamps. This stamp line offers those one of a kind stamps. I also just have fun creating these pieces. Lastly, this is a piece carrying me over into the month of love. I'm using this piece for a class. My friend owns the local scrapbooking store and has been asking me to teach some mixed media classes. This month I decided to incorporate pictures. I take the basics of mixed media to help people create their own one of a kind project. I can say my new year has been pretty awesome. Please keep coming back because I have some great new ideas for this year. I'll be thinking a lot outside the box. Thanks again for stopping by!! Till next time!
