Great Time with Classes

Welcome back!!  I've been busy with classes this past weekend. The first was a small intimate class with this super cute couple who are also my cousins!  They came over to play and we had a blast. David made this awesome memo/photo holder. This was his first time crafting and I think he had fun!  I told Clara there was no reason for them to make the same thing so I let her make one of these awesome bunnies I found at Joanns. She's been to several classes so she was pro at covering this bunny. It came out so cute!

My second class was also a first! I did my first kid's party!  I actually had a lot of fun. I kinda stressed out about it but it worked out perfectly and they did great!  We all made this cool, cute bird canvas. The birthday girl loved it!! I may have to tackle to this again. Lol!  Yes I said it! I might try a kid's class again. Thanks again everybody for making this weekend so much fun!  See you all soon!  Come back to see some new projects soon!  

Spring Time

Welcome back everybody!!  I am trying to do better and blog at least once a week. Here I have some really cute spring projects. I'm loving this canvas piece!  It's 10" x 20". This is a new size canvas for me. I finished the background a couple weeks ago but didn't know what I wanted to do with it so, I just started playing around with it, and this was the final outcome. The flowers really pop off this piece. Next up I have these fun little bunnies!  They came out perfect. They are just fun. Happy to say they have found a happy home. Picture Frame with Texture

Hey everybody!! Welcome back! I couldn't wait to show you this awesome project. I'm loving this picture frame!!  I found these paper mâché picture frames at Michaels, and I bought all of them!  Lol!  My favorite part of this frame is the textured stencil made from modeling paste.  It totally gave this frame a facelift. I then added this cross and chipboard family word. I had so much fun making this frame because hoping the stencil would come out perfectly made it kind of nerve racking and that was fun!  Lol! Prayer Boxes....taking on a life of their own

Loving these little prayer boxes!!  I had seen a couple versions at a local store and I thought to myself "I can make those!"  I found sound empty Altoid boxes and got to work!  They are intended to help keep all those special prayers in one place. I had one friend say she had almost used up all her cards. Lol!  I had another friend say she is praying hard and once her prayer is answered she is writing that on the back of the card. The power of prayer is amazing and I believe it works!  Back to more crafting! Stop by soon to see more projects!

So sorry it's been so long....

Again I apologize for being away for so long, but it has been busy around here. I've posted just a few pics here of what's been going on. I went into craft season with full force. I did 5 shows and I did really well. I can't thank everyone enough that has supported me. I've also been busy with classes. I have a great support team there too. I've done a class every month so during the holidays these classes kept me super busy too. I went right into 2016 busy with cards, another class then geared up for Valentine's Day. I know this is short and sweet but didn't want to bore you with all the details. I feel bad because I've made so many projects I'd love to show you. Maybe I will post some of these items in the coming weeks. I'm going to really try to do better and post more often. Thanks again everybody for following me on this crazy, crafting obsession. Lol! 

Sugar Skull Classes

Hey everybody!!  Been having more fun teaching some mixed media classes. I had so many request for sugar skulls so I thought I'd give it a try, and guess what?!  Everyone did fantastic! I think what I loved most is how nobody's piece looked the same. All these ladies have really put their own spin and own personality into their piece. Classes are getting more and more popular and I couldn't feel more blessed. I can't wait to do more. I've been busy on my own projects and I'll be posting some of those soon. Anchor Mixed Media Pieces

Love these pieces!  They kind of taken on a life of their own. They've become a very popular piece. I'm making them like crazy. What's been great about these pieces are the personal touch. Everyone has wanted to include their own special quote. I'm having a blast making these. I've already gotten a couple more orders for a few more. Father's Day 2015

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there including mine!!  My card making season is slowly coming to an end. I'm so grateful for all those who have ordered and supported me. Today is all about dads and I have to say I'm really lucky. He's always been there for me and I can always count on him to support me in everything I do. I think this is where my creative gene came from. He along with his side of the family is so creative. Thanks dad! I love you!  Thanks everybody for stopping by!  Till next time. Classes, Classes and more Classes

Let me tell you!!  I've been having a blast teaching these classes!  I'm bringing in these non crafters and showing them that they can make these canvas pieces. I'm getting great feed back and everyone is having fun. I love to see their faces when they are done. They can believe they really made it. Here are a few group photos of some of the classes. Crazy, Crazy and Blessed

Sorry it has been so long since I've posted, but it has been crazy busy in my craft world. The month of March was so much fun. I got to start teaching classes in our local nursing and rehab facilities. These classes were a blast. The folks I've met are all so interesting and have the most amazing stories. I'm being hosted by Amarillo a Home Care Services. They have been so good to me, they are great people. Now to April...it has been equally as busy. I did my first craft show of the 2015 season. It was held at Amarillo High School. I'm truly blessed. I had a great show!!  I got the most amazing feedback. Here are a few pics from the show. I'm off to the craft studio to work on some new projects. I'll be back soon. Thanks again everybody for your support!
