Day 1 of 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop

There is always a beginning to everything and today is the day.  The beginning of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop sponsored by Smeared Ink.  I've been working on these projects and I hope you enjoy them. If you get lost during the hop I do have a full list of blogs on a posted dated 9/30/11.  Well...here it is my first project

I made a Halloween wreath.  I found this project online and thought I would put my own spin on it.  I had to be taught over and over how to make a cone (thanks Tammy & Prissy) but I finally got it down I think.  LOL!  I used an old music book I found at a thrift store for the cones. Tammy gave me a great idea and said I could decorate the center for different season which I thought was an awesome idea.  I attached velcro to the back of the center so I can switch it out for whatever season we are celebrating.  I know awesome huh?!  I used stamps from Studio G along with items from Maya Road, Recollections and Martha Stewart.  I love how this came out and can't wait to display it.  Please let me know what you think of it.  Happy October everybody!!  See ya tommorrow!

Just look at how Fabtabulous that turned out. I expected nothing less. You are one creative friendie of mine. I've been checking in on everyone's entries and I could kick myself for not hopping along. Oh well there is always next year.
I finished spritzing Rachael's wreath this morning so she can finish it before October has come and gone.
Again your wreath is fabulous-as always.

Oh yea, I know you put that spider on this project so I wouldn't steal it from you. It could have been many things you put on there , but NO it had to be a SPIDER !!! Mean, just mean of you! You know full well I DON'T EVER do SPIDERS!!!!

I think this is very effective-and good idea to make the center changable-BRAVO
Years ago I sued to do a similar idea useing tissue papers cones with the pointy end pointing to the outside-i like this idea better-wonder how it would be with paper lace over dark paper for a victorian look?
Great Job

I was lost but now I've found the right place (sorry about the comment on the wrong post), so here it is: The use of musical pages is such a good idea and making the center changeable is inspired. Love it!
